effect of oral presentation on development of l2 learners grammar
this experimental study has been conducted to test the effect of oral presentation on the development of l2 learners grammar. but this oral presentation is not merely a deductive instruction of grammatical points, in this presentation two hypotheses of krashen (input and low filter hypotheses), stevicks viewpoints on grammar explanation and correction and widdowsons opinion on limited use of l1...

We give an explicit formula for the change of speed of pushed and bistable fronts of the reaction-diffusion equation when a small cutoff is applied to the reaction term at the unstable or metastable equilibrium point. The results are valid for arbitrary reaction terms and include the case of density-dependent diffusion.
متن کاملA numerical investigation of a reaction-diffusion equation arises from an ecological phenomenon
This paper deals with the numerical solution of a class of reaction diffusion equations arises from ecological phenomena. When two species are introduced into unoccupied habitat, they can spread across the environment as two travelling waves with the wave of the faster reproducer moving ahead of the slower. The mathematical modelling of invasions of species in more complex settings that include ...
متن کاملChaotic and fractal properties of deterministic diffusion-reaction processes.
We study the consequences of deterministic chaos for diffusion-controlled reaction. As an example, we analyze a diffusive-reactive deterministic multibaker and a parameter-dependent variation of it. We construct the diffusive and the reactive modes of the models as eigenstates of the Frobenius-Perron operator. The associated eigenvalues provide the dispersion relations of diffusion and reaction...
متن کاملParticle tracking and the diffusion-reaction equation
[1] Particle tracking algorithms are very useful methods to model conservative transport in surface and subsurface hydrological systems. Recently, a novel ad hoc particle-based method was proposed to account for multicomponent reactive transport by Benson and Meerschaert (2008). This one-dimensional particle method has been shown to match theoretical predictions, but, to date, there has been no...
